Hi.
I've started doing muscle building exercises like press ups and lunges, squats and dips etc. it takes me about 25-30 Min's to complete. Now... I got told that your muscles need a day of rest to repair. Would it matter if I did it everyday instead and rest on saturdays and sundays- would it make a difference to progress? Also I do 25-30 Min's on an elliptical everyday, apart from Sat's and suns. On saturdays I usually go for a bike ride and on sundays, I'm usually walking around town. Will this effect how quick I get my lean body back (I've gone a bit wobbly over these past few months- getting lazy... I blame x-mas he he)

P.s I do all of my workout in the morning and I dont do much else in the day apart from school, does this count as a rest for my muscles?
