I had an asthma attack about 5 days ago and ended up in the ER. They tried a regular albuterol neb treatment, that didn't work. So they gave me a duo neb with atrovent and albuterol and I responded well to that. But.. I am still not better.I was given prednisone to take for a week, I'm done with that now.I am doing a neb treatment every 4 hours. I'm checking my peak flow, usually my best is at 400, but its staying a 250 or below right now and is not going up, so I know my asthma is weighing into this. I felt like it was helping but now I feel like everything is getting worse like I'm getting sick or something.I have a really bad "Bark" sounding cough, it just won't go away. I don't have a fever or any congestion.

constriction/inflamation of my airways
wheezing
barky persistent cough that won't go away even when I do a neb treatment
Could it be some upper respiratory type thing along with my asthma?
