Is it me or I've seen brighter moons?

Tonight there is a Wolf Moon as they call it, and supposedly it will be the brightest moon of the year I think.

Is it me or has the moon seemed brighter other nights other than tonight?

How does the moon look where youre at?
 
Its bright where I am. The reflection of the sun on the moon is greater when the moon is closest to the Earth. That's why it looks so bright sometimes.
