Is it me or are allergies bad this summer

I usually have seasonal allergies which only get worse in the spring time. This summer has been really bad for me which is unusual. I keep getting sinus headaches and my kiRAB do as well. My right arm - I can't raise it because it feels painful like arthritis pain. My husband was complaining of the same pain. I have talked to others in my community and they have that same exact pain. They all have told me they suffer from allergies and it is caused from the extreme heat and it is messing with your allergies. I have already been to the doctors twice and had a complete physical.

I just recently got over a nasty cold that lasted for 2 weeks. It messed with my acid reflux and made my chest burn. I just feel like the air is stale.

Is anyone else going through this??
 
Yes, this is a horrible allergy season. I used to get allergy shots, but almost 3 years ago both the doctor and I agreed I probably didn't need them anymore, as I was coming in for a shot every 7-8 weeks; my serum was expiring before I'd use it so I stopped shots and was doing fine until the last 2 months. I have had sinus problems and just feel bad in MANY different ways. I was allergic to 14 molRAB and the molRAB are terrible this season, and I was allergic to cats and guess what? The wife and I have been taking cats in left and right (that's another story!) so we have 9 cats right now! I finally "admitted" earlier this week that I guess my allergies are the problem, and started taking some meRAB along with more vitamins and natural things. I don't feel that I need shots again, but time will tell as with Winter coming up and the house being closed-up I may go nuts! Yes, this Summer has been a HORRIBLE allergy season!
 
I thought I would chime in. I AGREE that it is a horrible late summer early fall allergy season. I was doing ok in the earlier part of summer while taking my allergy shots and meRAB but now they aren't even working. The past week has been horrific. I am making a doctors appointment. I have MAJOR congestion, watery eyes, sneezing, running nose at the same time. I can't EVER remeraber feeling this bad. I am hearing this from many people around my area. I am wondering since we had sooo much rain this summer that mold spores grew and now that it is dry out again and we've had some windy days all these spores are floating around. I can barely breathe. Its frightening and miserable. I wonder when it will end. It is a long ways until the first frost and I can't move away. I try to stay inside. I do nasal rinses and sprays, rotate Zyrtec, sudefed and Benadryl and those usually work. Right now nothing is working. I am wondering if I need a steriod shot to open me up. Anyone esle going through this? Help!:confused::)
