i know it is possible but does anyone know the chances. i am ttc and my husband won't be in town for the next week

WELL THE CHANCES OF AN AVERAGE WOMEN TRING TO GET PREGNANT AND DOING THINGS THE RIGHT WAY IS 20-30% EVERY MONTH(I KNOW I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HIGHER)....AND 5 DAYS YOUR REALLY TAKING A CHANCE THEY SAY DO IT EVERY OTHER DAY....ALSO TO KEEP INMIND I READ SOMEWHERE THAT IF A MAN DOESNT EJACULATE IN 7 DAYS OR MORE THATS SPREM ISNT NO GOOD....GOOOD LUCK HOPE THIS HELPS IM IN THE SAME THING I STARTED CLOMID AND MY BOYFRIEND IS LEAVING FOR THE WEEKEND AND IM OVULATING THAT WEEKEND SO I TOLD HIM I NEED YOUR SPERM RIGHT BEFORE YOU LEAVE AND SOON AS YOU COME BACK HOPEFULLY IT ONLY TAKES 1 CYCLE FOR ME

hi yes it is possible this is off a site---Sperm can live in a woman's body for up to six days — possibly seven. That's why most pregnancies result from fertilization by sperm that have been waiting in a woman's reproductive tract days before the release of her egg — ovulation — takes place.
good luck

If you have intercourse near or right at the time of ovulation, no doubt you will increase your chances of getting pregnant. In normally fertile couples there is a 25% chance of getting pregnant each cycle.

Sperm dies 72 hours after sex inside your body. The chances are pretty low I hate to say.

While sperm MAY last up to 5 or so days, it's not likely for it to be viable after 2-3 days at most. I wouldn't count on this month being it, but good luck nonetheless.
