I live in a medium-income subdivision where few cars drive through. There is a place in my subdivsion (woods) that I want to explore on foot. However it's too far away to walk to and behind some houses, so my only choice is to ride my bike there and lock it somwhere. I know there's a lamp post, but it's right on an intersection, and barely in somebody's lawn. Would that be illegal because my bike would be in somebody's lawn?
Is it legal to lock a bike to a street lamp pole?
