My sister has been in jail for simple assault and accessory after the fact since October 11th without a court date. I feel that this is wrong and am wanting to know if there is anything we can do about it. She has filed for a speedy indictment but at this point I wouldn't really consider it "speedy".
Any help is appreciated. I would hate to spend Christmas without my sister.
She's not out on bail because we don't have $10,000. She also didn't commit rape or murder nor did she beat me up so... yeah.
