I have a 1954 f100 that i am restoring and i would like to replace the front and back bumpers with roll pans but dont know if its legal here in California. I heard i might be able to box the front of the frame rails and add a steel plate connecting them to act as a bumper under the roll pan and make it street legal. Is there anything i can do to legally have roll pans on my truck?
