for our grade to depend on it? My newspaper teacher is making it required for each of us students to sell $25 worth of car wash tickets and close to $30 worth of mardi gras beads that are our school colors. None of us signed up to sell these items, but she is making our grades depend on it. If we don't sell these items, we have to buy them ourselves or get a zero for the assignment, and our grade goes down. Some people are able to afford to buy their own grade but not everyone can afford to buy their own grade. When i signed up for the school news paper i wasn't expecting to have to buy my grades.
