Every band sounRAB like each other nowadays. There's the screaming high pitched vocals with power chorRAB, or the low raspy vocals with lots of power chorRAB. It seems as though band's "new stuff" sounRAB, well, old.

thers tons of good music coming out, you just have to keep your eyes always open or you miss it. Most good stuff isn't on big labels anymore so theres no advertising for it on stuff like MTV and crap like that.

I love www.allmusic.com the editors there are kick ass and they show ALL music coming out from classical to post-apocalyptic rock to rap. Check it out, also, try www.imeem.com to listen for free before buying anything, its a nice little music sharing thingy, like myspace but better IMO...yeah, so don't get down...find music....
