Is it just me or are short denim skirts really ugly now?

I used to think they were cute 10-14, but now as a 16 year old I see them as trashy and skanky.

it's okay if you can pair it up with some cute leggings/tights if the colors go well together and stuff, but by itself?
its just like having a mini towel covering your crotch.
 
Yeah, I'm not a fan of the micro-mini. I actually do own one, but it's because my best friend bet me $50 I wouldn't dress like a slut for a day. Lol.

A-line skirts are my favorite, they're both classy and cute.
 
I have a couple, but I only wear them to and at the beach. Wearing shorts can be a pan so I wear my jean skirts. My boyfriend also really loves them. He finds them super sexy.
