Why oh why are all politicians asked questions in the following way...
"Danny Alexander, why do you...."
In what circumstances does one refer to someone by using both of their names whilst speaking to that person.
Is it impossible to say "Mr Alexander...." or "Danny......" or is it, perhaps, because it's politically incorrect to refer to female politicians as Mrs this or Miss that or, heavend forfend, Ms. someting or other.
They always get other titles wrong as well, referring to Lord Sugar as Lord Alan Sugar or Lord Brown as Lord Digby Brown but that's another story...
