...financial status? Ok, I am in a horrible financial bind right now. I just lost my job and literally am close to being homeless. I just received my first eviction notice from the sheriff due to not being able to make last months rent. I have only been out of work 60 days but lived paycheck to paycheck anyway. I have no family to help me out, already asked two friends for help, which was so horribly embarrassing. But, like myself and millions of others in the world, they are lucky to be surviving as well. To top it off I lost my health insurance which scares me more than a roof over my head due to having crohns disease. My question is this, is it illegal to send a sincere email to as many people I can, probably bulk emails, I don't know, asking for a $1.00 donation. I am not lying about anything in return but my appreciation. Im not going to die if I don't get the money for a heart transplant, kidney, child's surgery, funds to help pay for trying to find a kidnapped child, or any other fraud chain letter. Im not feeling sorry for myself, cause I know how many others have it worse. I will continue to look for work everyday, all day, until i find it. Bottom line is, what do I have to lose by just asking. I just don't want to do something that is illegal or considered a scam or fraud. Hell, odds are no one will send me a penny and I will most likely get more harassing emails than anything. Please help me out with the answer to this question. Thanks
