Is it illegal to discuss being fired with former customers?

My grandma was just fired from her job as a bar tending manager a couple days ago, she was close with all her customers and told them about being fired, she got a phone call from her boss and he said that if she keeps telling customers that she has been fired then they will call the police. Is it illegal for her to discuss her being fired with customers?
 
It is legal not only that her boss is harrassing her cuz he looks bad, and the police have nothing to do with people being fiered. freedom of speech is something we all have heard of. arrest her for talking outrages.
 
This is a free country. She can say what she wants. She neds to call him and tell him if he keeps calling her she is going to file harrassment charges against him. He is the one being an idiot and doing illegal stuff! She deserves better! Good luck to her! Tell her I said she is a good American girl and deserves better and will find better. THAT GUY IS A JERK!
