A Adam W Guest Jan 3, 2009 #2 It depends under the individuals circumstances, for example, where do you live, in the states or the UK? Well I know in the UK, you need previous work experiance, some qualifications, and a good CV.

E enginerd Guest Jan 3, 2009 #3 is it hard to get the job? depends on the paper it is fairly easy to get a job writing for small papers that pay poorly this is also the answer to the second question it is difficult to get a job as a staff contributor to the New York Times and that pays pretty well As in most professions, you often have to get the right education, then start small and work up.
