...dental school? I want to pursue a career in dentistry, however, seeing as it is insanely competitive, I would like to have a chemical engineering career as my back-up. So my question is, how hard is it to be in a chemical engineering program while taking the prerequisites for dental school, and then applying for dental school in the second undergraduate year? Will that significantly lower my GPA and my chances of entering dental school?
OR should I just stick with being a chemical engineer? The drawback to that is... I'm a female, and I've heard engineering is almost completely male-dominant. On another note, my communication skills aren't top-notch...
