character who I want unidentified? I don't want the reader to know whether the person is a boy or girl until later, but I want to write about the person's actions. For example, "A tall figure stood at the end of the hall before walking to the nearest door. It looked to the left and then to the right before entering."
That example isn't actually a part of my story, I just barely made it up, but for my story I don't want to use "he" or "she."
Any suggestions?
