I'm very scared of dogs because of my previous experiences with them. my neighbor has a huge black dog that's NEVER on a leash. is it a law to keep dogs on a leash in broward county florida? even when the people arn't home, their dog just goes roaming the street. i hate this.

Most states and cities have leash laws to protect their residents. Here is a couple links that could help you:

In all of Florida if you dog isn't on your property they must be on a leash.

Yes, you do have a leash law. Showed right up with 'broward county leash law' on google.

Regardless, it's not legal to let your dog roam off your property and onto the property of others', including the state's, no matter where you are.

Call animal control.
