Is it fare for someone who has no "past" to expect the same in a future lover?

Meaning, a man or a woman is a virgin and never did anything sexual with anybody before. Do you think its fare of that person to then expect there future lover to be the same? because allot of people will have long sexual pasts, and then expect to settle down with a virgin someday - guys do this in particular. And that's an example of them being an unfair hypocrite.
