...paternal rights) of thei? Is it fair that children were generally considered personal property (by exercise his paternal rights) of their father, in the United States? Family court in the United States basically treads children as personal property of there father and is only concerned about fathers rights not children & mothers rights. In Japan children are considered personal property of their Japanese mother and fathers both American & Japanese have no legal rights or finical obligations. In Japan children are chattel that belong to their Japanese mother & man are sperm donors.
American man say that taking a US born child under the age of 18 to Japan with out her Americans fathers consent is the same as stealing personal property from the US to Japan. In Japan they say that a man who tries to see (by exercise his paternal rights) his child with out her Japanese mothers consent is treating her as personal property and this is very impolite in Japan. The child in question is born in the United States and is a citizen of Japan & the USA, is living in Japan with her Japanese mother with out her Americans fathers consent.
