I hate when people don't return my texts, but it's always because I assume they are ignoring them (and 9 times out of 10, they aren't)...so I would hate to do the same to someone else. However, there is a guy who has been texting me for the last week...not very long, but already he is testing my last nerve.
I knew him before this, only as aquaintances, but hadn't seen him/spoken to him in almost a year. Out of the blue about a week ago, he asked me for my number over Facebook chat (claiming that he had lost it after getting a new phone or something, because he used to have it--for business purposes/we worked together on a project for a college course)....and in a desperate, blank moment, I felt cornered and gave it to him, hoping he wouldn't text me much or barely contact me at all--because he didn't bother me horribly a year ago. Now that a week has passed, though, he continually texts me far more than I had hoped...and it's becoming apparent that his intentions are probably more than friendly (especially since he has sent one or two borderline creepy texts).
I know I'm at fault for giving him my number in the first place, but I'm just at a loss for what to do.... I hate to tell him to stop texting me or something, but I feel really bad ignoring his texts, too...
Suggestions, advice, opinions, etc. are very much appreciated. Thanks...
