Is it excessive discipline to spank one's child for vomiting on the bedsheets?

She seems to do this frequently when we're getting ready to visit my brother's house. She's done it about a dozen times over the last year. I've told her repeatedly that when she starts to feel sick, she should go to the bathroom and puke in the toilet.

It's not that she always pukes on her bed. She pukes in different places. I'm just at my wit's end as to what to do to get her to stop this!
 
I don't think you should spank her, its not her fault that she's sick and can't hold it in..that's gross to kids they just want to get out out..i say get a bag and have her carry it with her...it can be her barf bad
And When she use it get her another thatway she can attempt to run to the bathroom and if she don't make it she will have her bag with her, but don't expect her to keep in in her mouth until she reach the bathroom, kids get grossed out by that
 
I understand your frustration, but I doubt she's doing it on purpose. It's probably just as annoying for her as it is for you. If she is vomiting often, then you should take her to the doctor's. It can cause dehydration which can cause death.
