otherwise... you could be googling pictures of Mercury (I usually google Bea Arthur, but to each his own)
or you could be looking at the element mercury in a thermometer.
or you could be chatting with the god Mercury. (he is a lot easier to understand than Thor, who has a lisp)
the planet always stays near the Sun as seen from Earth and at midnight, the Sun is usually well below the horizon...
NOW, if you were up near the Arctic Circle... all bets are off.
