Is it ethical for a therapist to talk about a client [anonymously] to

another client please RE:? I went to a therapist who used to from time to time talk about other clients to me, however they never used their name and I never knew who they were. But I never felt comfortable with that. Once she spoke about someone who sought counseling from her saying the woman "was so stuck up she wouldn't ever hang out in the garage where her husband worked on his cars as a hobby." I didn't like that. Because actually I told her a few yrs. ago that I didn't like ever hanging out at a garage where my husband works on cars as a hobby with HIS FRIEND whom I didn't feel comfortable being around sometimes since he was kinda chauvinistic at times PLUS I just do not like a garage atmosphere. ANYWAY, DID YOUR COUNSELOR ever mention other clients business in any way to you [anonymously]?[ IF you sought therapy that is]

P.S> she talked abt other clients several times w/me, but always anon of course. I still felt rather uncomfortable.
It's his friend's garage and I'm not fond of hangin out w/his friends girlfriend who's a real drag. So my husband is NEVER there by himself, otherwise that would be a different story. Or if my husband had his own garage, gosh that would be a completely different story, and I'd bring him something to eat and drink or something.
