Is it easier to write songs in Spanish?

I love writing songs. I cant even count how many I've written. Since taking 3 years of Spanish class, I'm now into writing songs in Spanish. Is it easier to write songs in Spanish? Do they have to make sense? I've translated Shakira's songs, and they make no sense at all! But they rhyme. Here's a spanish song I wrote too. Any good?

Ella es todo lo que quieres?
Entonces ¿por qué sigue aquí?
Tu no va a usar para mí

Es ella finalmente ha ido?
Qué le dijiste que no?
Cuando tu vuelves a casa?
No quiero decir nada?

No me dejes
Yo quiero que te quedes

some grammatical errors.
Like "por que quieres me lastimar?"
it should be "porque quieres lastimarme?"
and the last line should be
"pero tu ya has olvidado de mi".
THere are others but Im to lazy to point them out to you.
For 3 Years of spanish, you do have good grammar though.
