Is it difficult to get into an Inns of Court in the UK?

In 2004 I got a 3rd in my LLB but I'm now completing my LLM in International Human Rights Law and I'm on track for a Merit in that, are my chances of getting into an Inn to do my BVC good or bad?
 
I think the best thing to do would be to phone up the BVC providers you are interested in and ask them if they would consider your application based on yiour academic achievement. I think this will be more difficult than getting into an Inn of Court. I don't think its that hard to get into an Inn of Court but I believe you do need three references! My friend just joined Middle Temple and she told me that! I would hope that the BVC providers will offer you a place because you have the LLM.
