Is it damaging to the SLR to take photos without Compact Flash card?

I've got a Sony DSLR A 200K , I dont have CF II card now but I just want take some photos for fun before I get a CF card, without card, the photo is deleted right then, Is it damaging to the SLR to take photos without Compact Flash card

Damaging? No

Pointless? Yes

It is not damaging to take picture with the camera when there is no Compact Flash card in it, but it doesn't really make much sense. If you take a photograph you really like, It won't save on the camera. You need to get a CF card to enjoy your camera. You might take a Great picture, but have no record of it.
