E epow New member Jan 23, 2011 #1 I just got an iPhone 3GS today and the AT&T guy told me to charge the iPhone BEFORE it reaches below 30% battery. I thought that it is better to run it down as low as possible before starting to charge. Which way is better for the battery life?
