Is it better to buy a car in VA and then ship it to Los Angelese? Or just buy a car

in LA? I´m about to move to Los Angeles in less than three weeks and I currently live in Williamsburg, VA. With that said, I´m looking to buy a car but I wasn´t sure if it was better buy the car in VA and then ship it or just buy the car in LA. Anybody with experience with these regards would definitely help in answering this perplexing question of mine...
