Is it because of smart people like this that McCain will lose the election?

Its all well and fine that celebrities get involved in politics....thats their prerogative...but to tear someone down because you know nothing about them is classless. Matt Damon should not be putting Palin down just because he does not know much about her. He should get the facts straight before he trys to preach about his political views!

I think he is funny...because if you replace the name Palin with Obama...it almost fits together.

I think celebrities like Matt Damon and Whoopi Goldberg speaking out only help the Republicans.

Although I agree with some of the things that Matt Damon has to say about Gov. Palin, I don't seek political advice from celebrities. Especially Matt Damon - whom accepted an Oscar for a screenplay that William Goldman wrote. So as far as I'm concerned he is a liar himself and presents himself as something that he is not. He is a hypocrite.

It actually hurts me physically that I agree with him. So I ignore him and base my opinions on facts and experts - not actors.

Mat Damon plays and acts and pretends to be other fantasy people in his life and gets paid millions for it. Too bad others have to live it in real life and get paid next to nothing by comparison.

If he spent the time he does doing interviews complaining about his ignorance and actually spent some time finding things out, maybe he wouldn't be as stone cold f*** dumb about things as he is.

Is the ability to memorize lines and recite them convincingly a sign of intellect?

If you think it is, I may have finally figured out why people like Obama!!!

Sorry, I think people that take Matt Damon's political views seriously are in the vast minority ;)
