I have an abysmal GPA, so I was thinking of taking some "easy" classes to boost my GPA. More specifically, I was considering some higher-level literature courses that only require reading and writing. The problem is that it's not related to my major or even my minor (Natural Sciences and Math, respectively).
Would it look bad to take those?
I meant the advanced literature course might be easier for me since I enjoy reading and writing, especially about classic literature.
At the same time I thought a couple of advanced lit courses might look better than say, three PE courses or even freshman survey courses. In other words, something that requires effort and isn't transparently easy but that is easy for me.
The only reason I'm not an English major that there are too many of those and very few applications for that outside of pedagogy.
