is it bad to already have food in the oven while pre heating?

Okay well I'm stupid, and this is my first time using an oven... And well I went to make cookies. I have to have it 350 and well I preheated the oven, but i left the cookies in there. lol I forgot to take them out while pregheating, and well I took them out they were all oily :/

so is that okay.. ? would that be really bad to eat after its done cooking?
 
Pitch them. Don't put anything in the oven until it is preheated.

If you were supposed to put food in the oven while preheating, it woudlnt' matter what setting you needed the oven to be on, would it?

Put them back in a [this time, lol] "Preheated" oven for about
3 to 5 minutes or until you see they are baked and not oily.
What you described is under baked cookies.
And they should be fine to eat when done.
