the max then release the clutch? I recently got my driving permit and have already racked up 7.5 out of 50 hour of driving (crazy I know, yet understandable) and I'm a natural at it. My Mom has a supercharged Mini Cooper with racing seats and stripes on it, it's all bad-ass. Its a 6 shift too from what I remember. So my Mom took me out the other night and let me try out her car. I've used clutches before on ATVs and motorcycles so I understood the concept of how to work the clutch. I'm not that good at starting out because I either give too much gas and let the clutch out too slow or I give too little gas and release the clutch too fast. I asked my Mom if it was ok for the engine if I push the gas pedal down to the floor while holding the clutch then release the clutch but she's a woman, she doesn't know anything about the engine (no offense girls/woman)! I know that it would cause me to do a burnout and weaken her tires but what the hell.
I'm just wondering if when I do this (hopefully soon) that the engine will be ok...
