I have asked them to remove it and they refuse, they have my first name and my last inital up and I want it removed. I have notifided Myspace. But the people that have it up say that it isn't against the law to have my first name up. I thought it was?
The problem is the fact that they are posting screen shots that can be linked to me due to my picture, my ID that can hardly be seen, plus they some how got my class scedual with my school on it.

You mean like Michael F. of which there are several million - nobody but you and the people you tell will know it is you - unless your first name is Rumpelstiltskin.

'up' in what way? Unless naming you is somehow harming you (such as linking you with illegal activities), it's perfectly fine to have your name on there.

no, not illegal.

I'm Patrick R.

I don't own the initial "R" as an identifier.

That doesn't identify me to anyone unless further info is used.

Your name is not considered confidential. So, if they want to put up your name, then they may.

listen as far as i know it is not illegal but it is better to have ur first name than ur last name up there

for ex. if ur name was jeff, there are thousands of jeffs in this world but there is only 1 jeff grogan.

Having posted a person's first name is not against the law because, so many people have that name like so many other names It's a last name that is unlawful.
