Is it against the law to carry an extendable baton/asp in Canada?

Is it against the law to carry an extendable baton/asp in Canada (specifically Toronto, Ontario)? If it is legal, does it need to be in clear view or can it be concealed? While I'm on the subject, does anyone know the laws surrounding carrying any types of knives/blades?

Now I've gone and made myself sound like I'm some sort of weirdo/creep planning on going around looking for trouble... not the case - just curious :)
