Is it "abuse" when your boss doesn't control her mood swings?

When my boss comes into work, you never know what you'll get. We're all on edge. One day she threatens to end your job, the next she loves you. We are not allowed to question any of her irrational behavior, if black is white to her, then it's so. Do I leave my job? Most people just kiss her butt, I try but it doesn't seem to work.
 
That doesn't actually fit the legal definition of hostile work environment. You can find something else and when you interview, do not trash your boss. It's not a good reflection on you. You can say you are looking for a more positive environment.
 
Not "abuse", but a "lack of control" on the part of the boss.

Do you wish to continue working in such an environment?

Some people do not know how to handle authority, especially when they are having problems dealing with mood swings (PMS?).

Is there a manager she reports to that you can discuss the problem with privately?
