We're in our 20s, known each other for about a year. We've been known to send 200 texts in a single day, but we live 40 minutes away, so we only see each other every other week, usually for a meal at an upscale restaurant. We both love food, and the places can be romantic because of who they cater to. Last week, I was working late in the office, and she came at 2 am to give me some coffee. We talked about friends, and at one point I said, "I love how we can go out and it doesn't mean anything." To which she responded "I wouldn't say they don't mean anything!" Today we were suppose to have lunch, she canceled and changed it to dinner on Monday. We're both normally very understanding with our busy schedules, and I told her it was fine. But I secretly found myself disappointed because we couldn't hang out.
Are we developing feelings for each other? Normally I would want to explore and see...but she has a bf that she's been going out with for 6 months; but she says she doesn't love him. And I just got out of a 3 year relationship 2 months ago...so I am hesitant.
