I know its awhile before I'll be driving, but i'm 15 in march and i'm really eager to drive. Ill be getting some money for christmas and i know alot about mechanics from my dad. I found some good, used, cheap cars in my area for $500.00, and i was wondering if you think buying a car sometime soon well i have some money is a good idea, or if i should wait till i'm old enough to get my learners permit.

Another reason i was thinking about getting it soon is there is a nice, good condition 85 monte carlo for 500 bucks and i don't wanna miss out on getting a nice car for cheap. And i do plan to do some work on it
