I have minimal coding experience so I had to hire many different contractors to do the work for me. Some required that I send them the index.php file to my website, which I did. I am just wondering, if they have that file, would they now have the power to post anything on my website or even hack it? I got a lot of spams lately on my website and I have to constantly check it and delete any spam post when found. My website is a blog running on Wordpress.
