Is it a bad idea for a Caucasian to wear white for school pictures?

When you go on TV, they tell you to wear a light blue shirt. It isn't busy and it makes you look more natural. If you notice some of the people on the news, you'll see a lot of light blue. I wish you luck with your pictures and I hope that you pick the right color!
BTW, you can always wear a sweater (cardigan) over the shirt.
Peace out and remember to smile!

I always suggest that someone where a creamy pink color...

It will stand out against the background, it will not wash you out or make redness in your face stand out...some sharp blue colors and white can make your face appear red...and it will actually make your face tone look even and bring out the natural pink tones in your cheeks, forehead, nose and chin.

High school pictures are tomorrow and I have three shirts picked out, all solid colors (to keep the picture from being too busy). My favorite shirt out of all of them is white, but will this make me look washed-out? I have a tan but nothing too dark. The other colors I have are a softer magenta/fuchsia, and a bright blue-teal.
Which would be best? (I have light brown hair with natural blonde highlights from the sun. My non-tanned skin can pass as either fair with pink undertones or beige with peach undertones.)
I forgot! The backround is going to be grey... will the white stand out enough?
