i've read a few articles that argue Islam is anything but a religion and that its more of a political movement than anything else.
I also read somewhere that Islam was created by mixing Jewish and Christian beliefs and introducing a new prophet, called Muhammad.
is this true ?
also if ISlam is the religion of peace then why are there so many bomb blasts all over Afghanistan and Pakistan ? are these two nations not islamic nations , you know - following the supposed 'religion of peace' ?
i think ISlam is a political movement and not a faith.
a religion should be spiritualy enlightening and should bring calm to your soul, heart and mind.
somehow I don't think Mohammad Atta and his mates were believers of a any religion of peace. thats just my opinion.
