Is is best to eat little and often or 3 big meals?

I was just wondering, what is best for controlling weight. I'm not fat 5'1" and weigh 8 and a half stone so my BMI is fine but like many lasses i like to keep my weight under control and there are bits which of course i wanna improve!!! hehe.

Also by eating little and often are we talkin, a yoghurt and then a piece of toast or somthing like that, or more like a sandwich.

Any help would be appreciated!!!

After years of dieting, one thing I'm sure is that you need have at least 6 meals a day. 3 main meals (about 400 calories) and 3 snacks (an apple, a yoghurt, a few dried apricots and a walnut). If you don't feed yourself, your body doesn't want to burn any calories.
