Apple iphone is selling like hotcakes all over the world. Is it just the Apple brand or is iphone really feature packed phone which gives huge competition to Nokia N series?
What Do You Think?

Apple has put significantly more marketing behind the iphone. Nokia N series phones are great products, but a lot of people don't know about them. If Nokia had the same marketing genious as Apple, I wouldn't doubt N series phones would be more popular.

It's not simply marketing that sells the iPhone. It also has a slick, innovative, and simple UI, which allows it to attract people who are otherwise intimidated by smartphones. In fact, there was an article a few weeks ago that discussed how the general consumer is turned off by the complexity of most smartphones. Surely, the N series phones can do just as much as an iPhone, but the learning curve is much higher and requires more a tech savvy consumer. In the US, in particular, the N series phones are not offered by any carrier, so that limits market penetration.

I was looking at an iPhone and those things can do just about anything. I really liked it and they also look cool.
The only negative thing I've heard about the iPhone is that the keyboard doesn't go into the sideways mode for typing, unless you use it in a browser. Maybe Apple will solve this in the next generation iPhone.

In my personal opinion, the iPhone relies a lot on hype and the fact that it's an Apple brand. It is a good phone, there's no doubt about that, but it is rather restrictive in a sense. For starters, the camera is only 2 megapixels and cannot record video at all. The bluetooth will not allow you to send any media - it is solely for headset use. I would have to admit that the iPhone is probably more reliable than the N series, since Apple are known for reliability. It can also host a wealth of innovative applications, which surpasses any other phone that I've seen. Compatibility-wise however, the N series wins hands down, due to the fact it has a symbian operating system and many more advanced features.

At the end of the day, the iPhone is a good phone, with a wealth of features, but if you're in the market for something of higher specification and the latest features, the N series is probably your best bet :) .

I think iPhone is better.Because it's Apple and lots of people know Apple's quality and compatibility. And Apple is cheaper than Nokia
