I am not bashing people who have learning disorders or anything like that. However, I have noticed that whenever I try to have a semi-intelligent conversation with anybody, I seem to come off as gay or cowardly. I can't help but feel that the latest entertainment and trends are dumbing down our society. I'm really concerned. At school anybody who seemed intelligent at all was tormented endlessly. I don't mean to sound extremely weird but, I worry I might have to hide my intelligence to be so much semi-socially acceptable. Am I the only one who feels this way? If so, What should I do?
Is intelligence frowned upon or is it just me?
