Is insurance on jeeps more expensive?

im thinking of buying a jeep 1995 or older most likly (YJ, TJ) do they tend to be more or less expensive on insurance then the average car?

No. My 1999 Cherokee is substantially less than my 05 GMC Envoy

SUV's in general have slightly higher insurance rates because of the ability to take them off the road
