Is information on blackberry bold saved to the sim or the phone?

I lost my blackberry bold at the weekend and have since blocked the contract so nobody can run up my bill. Im concerned if thing like contacts, notes, pictures, messages etc are saved to the sim or just the phone. I think i may have some bank details and passwords for things stupidly saved on the notes part because im rubbish at remembering them, im worried even though iv blocked the phone somebody will still see this information!
