as soon as i finish college, im planning to hitch-hike around europe and maybe even in america.. but some have warned me about the dangers of doing so. how safe is it really? would u or would u not recommend it and why?
Very few girls hitch-hike on their own. Most people offering rides are going to be fine and you can get to meet good people but in many European countries even sitting on your own as a single female suggests that you are looking for male company and travelling any distance in Europe you are certain to attract some men who think you are trying to "pick them up". Some won't take no for an answer.
