Let me start off by saying this. This question is not for high schoolers or bitter people to answer. I want to hear from some open minded people with at least a high school diploma. If you don't have a high school diploma then this question is NOT for you!!! Anyways, I've been doing a lot of research being Criminal Justice major at the University of Texas. I have really come to see that after a punishment period of either being incarcerated or placed on community supervision, anyone convicted of a Sex crime have to Register as a Sex Offender. What gets me is that you have basically already served your punishment and you're still being punished by the rules and regulations that the Sex Offender registration puts you on. Not to mention, Sex Offenders are NOT allowed in Airports or family reunions. I feel that this may be a bit unconstitutional because 1. You've already served your punishment and you're still being forced to register as a Sex Offender 2. Everyone should be allowed to travel. Even if it is by air or bus. As much as we hate a Sexual Offender, they DO have families that know them A LOT better then we do. So lets NOT be inhumane. I feel this may be a cruel and unusual punishment to have to still deal with after you've already served your time. What do you people think?? Remember, I am looking to hear from OPEN MINDED people who at least have a high school diploma. If you don't have a high school diploma then this question is NOT for you to answer!! Sophisticated people only!
