Is having or paying for two gym memberships for myself a bad idea?

I have a membership now close to my house, but between my job and school I hardly have time anymore. I'm trying to manage my schedule a little better between work and school to squeeze an hour or two for cardio preferably two or three days during the week. But every time I pack my gym bag to go after work, the long commute home with the traffic takes away my motivation 90% of the time.

There's is a YMCA literally a building over from my job that has only the basics for cardio which would be great to have access so I'm not scraping for motivation after the long commute home. I don't want to give up the membership closest to my house because its convenient on weekends and days off. Unless of course I pay cash upfront on the days I attend the YMCA, but Im not sure.
