I have an inquiry if male servicemen of the US Army are allowed to apply hair gel on garrison (excluding basic training).
I've been noted that hair should not be long enough to protrude from under a beret, patrol cap, or any other form of headgear, but as long as this rule is followed, is hair gel prohibited to males under the grooming standard?
